Alberta... cold all year round but great seasonal changes... Indian summers are really terribly hot-worst than the -30s degrees  winters...always fun pissing into the soft thick snow & watching the amazing steam but do so when the northern winds aren't blowing hard... or else you'll get the worst Canadian frost-bite...To travel back in time, be in Edmonton with its rich history, sights & sounds but it could be sad & lonely if one is a bachelor...Calgary-be lost in the crowd, live for the moment ... stay in heavenly Banff...ride horses,  kayak in Summer &  ski in winter...  

BOOKS...In Canada,  anyone can be an enterprising entrepreneur...I once sold my hard- cover Book of Mormon  to a second hand shop, making a small sum from the deal. A belated apology to the Church of Latter Day Saints for having to make a fast buck from the sale. The book was a gift for a special occasion. I also sold off my thick 'History of Sex' book ... a regrettable error in judgement (one of many when one is lost in love in an exciting beautiful land ) 'cos where the heck can one find a book like that in the Muslim east???

Calgary... "Have a smoke, sir?" A guy asks you this, say, "Sorry, nope. Don't smoke". A nice young teen asks you this, say the same! Don't be naive! You'll realise one day after thinking about it ... it may mean more than just a request ... and you could foolishly get into trouble with the Law 'cos of a minor!

Camrose...Ah, how I love this cold, cold shiny beacon  on the Canadian prairies! It has one of the finest university-colleges in the world there.  If one hasn't experienced the life there, one surely can't be a true Albertan! Here's an old pic of what it's like to be there...

Ooops! I promise the pic will be here.... but first thing first...gotta find out if any visitors dropped by so I'm acquiring some powerful tools to see what's going on here. If this blog is an aimless foray into the 'matrix' I'll hang up my tropical hands in surrender.
